COWMAC-Consortium of Organisations Working on MAlayalam Computing- is a confederation of organisations involved in linguistic computing and development of Tools and Technologies for Malayalam computerisation. It aims to support research and technology development in this area by avoiding duplications, adopting standards (font coding, keyboard layout, transliteration schemes, Malayalam cyber vocabulary etc.), creating and sharing linguistic resources and data.
